Research & Development Cell

The college has set up a centralized research cell where the record of research work undertaken by faculty members is duly kept. On a regular basis it brings out News Letter of the college highlighting the research activities, projects and programmes undertaken by the staff and students. The faculty is encouraged by providing funds for attending seminars and technical workshops. They submit research projects to DST, DRDO, AICTE to conduct advance research through this cell. It is emerging as an advance centre in technical and applied sciences. The cell is linked with Research and Development cells of various departments of the college which are jointly responsible for conducting technical events such as workshops, conferences, seminars, etc.

PROJECTS

  • A  Faculty Development Program was organized by Research and Development cell of Haryana Engineering College, on January 4-5, 2012. The following resource persons made their Presentations on the topic given against their names.
  • For third year students of the college A Personality Development & Communication Skill Program was conducted by the Bull’s Eye, Chandigarh. Mr. Rajeev Markanday was the resource person.
  • On the topic “MATLAB” a two day National Workshop was organized by the ECN department and R&D cell on March 2-3, 2012. In this Workshop delegates from other colleges of Haryana, Punjab, U.P.& Himachal Pradesh participated along with the faculty members of Haryana Engineering College.
