Haryana Engineering College is one of the oldest and the best managed self-financed colleges of Haryana, imparting quality technical education using the most modern techniques. It has world-class infrastructure with all modern facilities. Haryana Engineering College, Jagadhri is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, and is recognized by AICTE and Govt. of Haryana. It was incepted with initial intake of 180 students but every year there has been a tremendous increase in number and now the mark has crossed more than ten times the initial figure.

LOCATION

It is located on Old Chhachhrauli Road within the municipal limits of Jagadhri, the Metal-Town of Haryana, surrounded by Shivalik Hills on the North and sacred river Yamuna flowing on the West. Jagadhri (Yamuna Nagar) is a Corporation, a junction of three states viz. Haryana, H.P.  and U.P. It is easily approachable through National Highway from Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Saharanpur (U.P.) and Paonta Sahib (H.P.) in a radius of about 50 kms. It is at a distance of 90 kms from Chandigarh/ Panchkula, 100 kms from Dehradun (Uttrakhand) and 200 kms from Delhi.

Infrastructure

A) Campus

The college can rightly boast of its magnificent campus spread over 11.5 acre of land aesthetically and artistically landscaped. It has fully air-conditioned, beautifully designed, excellent building having 2.8 lac sq. ft. covered area. It has 24 hrs. power backup, Wi-Fi Internet connectivity and centrally computing facilities with more than 800 computers having most advanced configuration, open to every student always.

B) Academic Building

A fully air-conditioned academic building is a self contained academic complex comprising lecture halls, tutorial rooms, seminar halls and laboratories equipped with all multimedia projection aids like LCD projection, laptops. Lush green lawns, water coolers with aqua guard and RO purification and neat and clean rooms add to the beauty & value of our campus.
