IBM Mobile Application Development Workshop

01 day workshop by IBM on Mobile Application Development (The Great Mind Challenge-2013) was organized in HEC on 6th, March, 2014 at 10.00 a.m. in Conference Hall. IBM is organizing workshops on Mobile Application Development on IBM platform in engineering institutes across PAN India under The Great Mind Challenge Contest in order to encourage students to develop Mobile Applications and the students are guided for development of Mobile Applications in these workshops. The basic aim is to keep pace with new technology of Mobile Applications which is having great scope in the world.

Mr. Mani Madhukar, Technical Lead, North and East India, IBM Academic Initiative, IBM India Pvt. Ltd. Noida and Mr. Rajat Rishi, Intern were the main speaker and guide in the workshop in HEC on 6th March, 2014. They dwelt on the principles of Mobile Applications and guided the students to develop mobile applications in the workshop. 50 teams from B.Tech-2014 & 2015 batch participated in this workshop. These teams will be developing mobile applications on different domains and their work will be evaluated by IBM expert teams and out of 50 teams, 10 teams will get chance to develop further applications after getting training from IBM office. Their entries will be evaluated PAN India and successful entries will get chance to work as Intern in IBM.

DIESEL WORKSHOP 

02 days workshop on Diesel Engine Principles, Operation, dismantling & assembly was organized in Haryana Engineering College, Jagadhri.

In endevour to provide better technical shies to students of B.Tech , Mechanical Engineering of 3rd & 4th year, Workshop on Diesel Engine principle, operation, dismantling& assembly was organized in Haryana Engineering college for 02 days w.e.f 24th to 25th Oct, 2013.

Er. Karan Deep Sodi from Avanth Power Ltd, Jhajjar explained all principle details of Diesel Engine operation. Mr. Jasbir Singh , Forman, Tata Motors demonstrated practically all parts of Diesel Engine of engine. Finally, Engine has assembled with help of students. Finally, Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Principal, Mr. Harish Mahendru, Dean, Ms. Pratibha, Registrar thanks Er. Kanran Deep Singh and Mr. Jasbir Singh, Forman for providing inright into Diesel Technology for technical shields updation of future engines & assured all out technical shields improvement of all the students pursuing B.Tech in all trades.
