View Syllabus Electronics and Communication Engineering

The department has been in existence since the inception of Haryana Engineering College in 1998 and is fully developed. All round knowledge is imparted to students through the Labs of Basic Electronics, Digital Electronics, Electrical Technology, Semiconductor Devices & Circuits, Digital Communication, Electronic Design, VHDL, Audio Visual, DSP, Visual Simulation of PCBs and projects, Microwave Optical Communication, Data Communication and Matlab. All these labs are fully furnished with latest equipments and accessories. To provide additional practical knowledge, the department has tied up with Agile Enterprises which conducts short term and summer training courses within the campus at affordable cost. The department has recently setup state of the art Research & Development (R&D) Lab, equipped with latest computers and simulation tools viz., ORCAD, LabVIEW, Matlab, VHDL, Circuit Simulation to encourage the students to take Part in design activities. The department also offers M.Tech. in its core specialization from the session 2013-14.

Research & Development (R&D) Lab:

Electronics and Communication Department has established R & D lab equipped with 25 computers & 10 softwares (Xiling (VHDL, Verilog), MAT LAB, Orcad, PCB Express, LabVIEW etc.) for various research work of  students & faculty members. More than 50 research papers have been published by faculty members during the last one year. Faculty & students work on various software & hardware projects in this lab.

Electronics Student's Society :

"Electronics Students Society" through its members encompasses a diverse range of technical activities devoted to the application of electronics and electrical sciences for the enhancement of industrial and manufacturing processes. These technical activities address the latest developments in intelligent and computer control systems, robotic s, power electronics. The Society continually updates its programme of technical activities to meet the needs of modern industry.

In addition to the technical activities, ESS organizes GDs, debates, aptitude tests for the all-round development of the students.
