Civil Engineering is a professional Engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment with application in bridges, roads, sky scrapers canals, dams & buildings. The wheel of progress is moving very fast. In its wake, new colonies, new townships, new industrial hubs are fast coming up. Accordingly, new roads, new buildings, new bridges, fly-overs are being constructed. Civil engineering is, therefore, has taken prime position among the engineering streams. Haryana Engineering College started the Department of Civil Engineering in 2011 with intake of sixty students, and is doing extremely well.
